Job Description:
The Client Director for IT Services will be charged with not only managing the business and strategic relationships at board level within one of the client’s key accounts but also take responsibility to potentially head up the business development of a new practice vertical. He/she will be the key individual in developing the overall business relationship at C-level and VP level on a strategic basis. The Client Director has the primary role of positioning the company effectively at board levels within the account to ensure that the client is well known/respected and represented at this level for any potential major new projects or bids. The Client Director will directly report to the BPO - Vice President.
Job Responsibilities:
 Provide and develop the overall strategic relationship and direction for the account
 Actively seek to develop business at senior levels within other potential clients in a particular vertical market area
 Map the client effectively at the most senior levels and pull together the resources required by the business to be able to bid for oppurtunities effectively
 Provide C-level credibility with the client/s who are in major expansion mode
 Direct and matrix the account/project managers both on and offshore
 Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to BPO – Vice President for consideration
Job Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management/Administration or any business- or technology-related major; Master’s degree is ideal; extensive, directly-related experience may be considered in lieu of education
 Minimum of 8 years of management, outsourcing and business development experience with a minimum of 5 years in successfully managing a medium to large-scale BPO firm
 Proven track record of developing business and maintaining relationships at board level; develop real successful relationships/revenue with C-levels in a sales and project delivery related environment
 Solid understanding of the IT services marketplace and fully understand the project delivery environment in this area having run and developed a significant account/s in this area in the past
 Proven commercial ability, having effectively managed business/revenue oppurtunities at the C-/VP level within a significant account in the past and be able to demonstrate effective relationship mapping at board level or equivalent within that account (or a limited number of significant accounts)
 Proven ability in pulling resources together in order to maximize potential business oppurtunities within a major account environment and be credible at the senior executive level
 Must be able to foster a positive and productive work environment, with ability to lead, build teams, and motivate staff
 Possess excellent communication, collaboration and relationship management skills with the proven ability to work in a matrix environment across functional lines
